Hazard Tree Removal

Complete removal of trees threatening structures, power lines, driveways, or neighbouring properties. We plan each cut, rig where needed, and haul the debris out so the site is clean when we leave.

  • Full assessment, written estimate, and scheduled crew on site
  • Sectional dismantling near structures & utilities
  • Rigging and lowering when drop-cuts aren't safe
  • Full cleanup, chipping, and haul-away
  • Coordinated with BC Hydro for work near power lines

Lot Clearing for New Construction

Site preparation for builders, developers, and homeowners breaking ground. Trees down, brush cleared, debris chipped or hauled, and the lot ready for excavation crews to take over.

  • Full or selective clearing to project plans
  • Coordination with builders, surveyors, and utilities
  • On-site chipping or full haul-away
  • Tree-protection plans for trees marked for retention
  • Arborist reports for permits and development submissions

Pruning and Topping

Structural pruning, crown reduction, deadwooding, and topping where site conditions or owner preference call for it. Healthy trees, better enjoyed — pruning improves sightlines, reduces risk, and keeps them thriving for years.

  • Structural pruning to reduce stress on the tree
  • Crown reduction and shaping for aesthetics
  • Topping for view, light, or hazard reduction
  • Deadwooding and selective limb removal
  • Clearance pruning near roofs, driveways, and power lines

Powerline Clearing

Clearance work near energized lines and service lines. Crews are trained and certified to work in proximity to power lines. We coordinate planned outages or line-clearance support through BC Hydro if necessary.

  • Right-of-way clearance on private and shared corridors
  • Service line clearing for residential and commercial sites
  • Coordination with BC Hydro for outages and standby
  • Sectional dismantling away from conductors

Stump Grinding

Mechanical grinding to well below grade so you can replant, re-sod, pour concrete, or just stop mowing around it. We grind flush or deeper depending on what's going in next.

  • Standard grind to 4–6" below grade for lawn restoration
  • Deeper grind on request for paving, footings, or replanting
  • Surface root chasing on stubborn species
  • Haul-away or on-site mulch, your choice

Emergency Response

Storm damage, fallen limbs, trees on structures or across roads. We triage by risk and get the situation safe first — full removal and cleanup follow once the scene has been assessed.

  • Response targeting 24 hours; same-day in storm events
  • Ensure safe, controlled removal without further damage to your property
  • Coordination with insurance adjusters where needed
  • Full removal and cleanup once the site is secure

Arborist Reports

Written assessments for permit applications, insurance claims, development submissions, and tree-protection plans. Signed by a certified arborist and prepared to municipal requirements.

  • Tree inventories and health assessments
  • Tree Risk Assessment (ISA TRAQ) reports
  • Tree-protection and retention plans for development
  • Insurance and dispute documentation
Frequently Asked

Questions we hear often.

Don't see what you're looking for? Give us a call — we'll be happy to answer any questions.

Yes — full commercial liability insurance and WorkSafeBC coverage on every crew member. Proof of insurance is available on request before work begins.

Yes — our crews routinely work near BC Hydro lines. For work within proximity of power lines, we coordinate a planned outage or line-clearance support through BC Hydro before starting.

Every tree is different — size, species, lean, proximity to structures, access, and disposal all affect the price. We provide written estimates after a free on-site visit, and we don't take a deposit until you approve the scope.

Most Lower Mainland municipalities require a permit to remove trees above a certain size or species — rules differ by city. Permits must be pulled by the property owner, but we can prepare the arborist report your municipality needs to support the application.

Standard estimates include full haul-away. If you want firewood rounds or chip mulch left on site, just say so when we quote and we'll adjust the price accordingly.

Sometimes. A proper assessment — especially a danger tree assessment — looks at structure, decay, and context before recommending pruning versus removal. We'd rather save a tree than take one down, when it's realistic.

Typically within 24 hours, and same-day during storm events where we can reach the site safely. Call the number on this site rather than emailing — emergencies need a phone call.
